Fifty companies and individuals who have pioneered the use of the Irish language in business will be honoured at a unique celebration in the Four Seasons Hotel, Dublin on Friday 26 June 2009. Maithú are delighted to receive a nomination this year.
This is the fourth year of the Barr 50 competition: a partnership between the Belfast Media Group, Foras na Gaeilge, the National Lottery, Udaras na Gaeltachta, Viridian, the Marketing Institute and a host of other renowned companies. The aim is to acknowledge enterprise amongst Irish speakers in all aspects of life and in large bodies such as Wilkipedia, Carlsberg and Grafton Recruitment which understand the competiitive advantage of the Irish language as a unique marketing tool.
